Austria - Carinthia - Wolfsberg
Welcome to the City of Wolfsberg – a picturesque district capital, about thirty minutes away from the state’s capital, Klagenfurt. Wolfsberg is located in the eastern part of Carinthia, which is Austria’s southernmost and thereby most sunny State.
This district is doubtless one of southern Austria’s most fortunate regions. Hardly anywhere else are there so many days of sun. That's why the Lavant Valley (Lavanttal) has always been dubbed the Paradise of Carinthia. The valley is named after the Lavant river. After rebuilding the local stadium, the Lavanttal Arena, for costs of almost two million Euros this venue is again well prepared for the return of Football and all its big men.
